The Sunshine Coast Health Foundation is a charity committed to providing additional equipment, training, support programs and research funding to the Sunshine Coast Health Services District. That district incorporates Nambour, Caloundra and Maleny public hospitals and the numerous ancillary services that make up our local public health system. Three full time staff, governed by a board of eleven unpaid directors, coordinate the fundraising activities of the Foundation to ensure maximum benefit from any funds raised.
All monies raised by The Lone Postie and his Cape Crusade will be channelled into the Children's Ward at Nambour General Hospital to help upgrade their equipment and improve the overall quality of paediatric care.
