VRAT™
We observed a commonly recurring problem. New recruits were given some initial job safety analysis (JSA) or other risk management training, but then were not provided with any opportunity to practice and develop their hazard identification skills before being sent out into the work place. VRAT™ was developed to address this problem. Our innovative new platform incorporates a hazard identification theory tutorial, a JSA library, and a virtual work environment (VWE). The theory tutorial enables the user to review risk management methods, examine the concept of duty of care within the context of relevant statutory examples, and access Acts and other regulatory instruments by way of a quick reference guide and a direct link to a legislation search engine. The JSA library contains examples of risk management documents. The user is provided with the opportunity to review and develop an understanding of these materials and print off hard copies as required. The VWE is engineered from a series of images taken from your work place. These are rendered into virtual spheres and then linked together with a site map to create a simulated space in which the user can practice his or her hazard identification skills.
VRAT™ is very simple to use and it offers a number of significant advantages:
Safety |
Hazard identification skills may be practiced and developed prior to entering your actual work place |
Productivity |
The requirement to borrow plant or equipment, or to disrupt productivity or employees in your actual work environment, is avoided |
Remote Learning |
Recruits can familiarise themselves with your VWE from a remote location and prior to their arrival on site |
Self Paced Learning |
Recruits can practice and develop their hazard identification skills at any time. Your VWE is accessible 24/7 |
Emergency Response Training |
Your VWE may be engineered to include crisis and other unique situations that are difficult, dangerous, or expensive to replicate in your actual work place |
The cost of VRAT™ will vary depending upon your specific project requirements. Please click on a link below if you would like to get a quote or arrange to view a demonstration version of the platform over the internet.
